Fire & Gas Mapping in the Hydrogen Industry: From Risk Analysis to Optimal Detection Strategy

The hydrogen industry plays a central role in the energy transition, but it also presents unique safety challenges: Hydrogen is highly flammable, colorless, and odorless; it leaks easily; and it burns with a virtually invisible flame. Fire & Gas Mapping offers a systematic, risk-based approach to the design of gas and flame detection systems. Software is used to simulate real-world scenarios in order to precisely identify hazard zones and determine the optimal placement of sensors.
